Name: Return to Sender

Element(s): Variable

Cost: Variable

Effect: If Blueman is hit by a spell and takes full damage, depending on the magical strength of the sender he returns it back to them at cost to cause more damage and deal increasingly devastating status effects. The scale is below:

High: The spell is returned at normal strength with no special modifications

MAA: The spell is returned at slightly higher than normal strength. The range is expanded, the area effected is expanded, the effect duration is lengthened, and it deals more damage.

Above Average: The spell is returned at moderately higher than normal strength. The above effects take place to a slightly higher degree. In addition, the spell has a chance to cause mild hallucinogenic effects.

Average: The spell is returned at half-again of its normal strength. The above effects are expanded to cause more damage, and if the attack connects it has a chance to deal minor frostbite to an opponent's bare skin and cause mild hallucinogenic effects.

Below Average: The spell is returned is at far greater than normal strength. The above effects are expanded accordingly, and the chance to deal frostbite and the hallucinogenic effect become much, much greater. A successful Return to Sender attempt will slightly heal Alexander.

Moderately Below Average: The spell is given an extreme boost in strength. The above effects are greatly expanded and the chance to deal frostbite and the hallucinogenic effect are all but absolute. The severity of these effects also intensify. A successful Return to Sender attempt will mildly heal Alexander.

Low: The spell's overall strength is doubled. The chance to deal Frostbite the Hallucinogenic effect are absolute. In addition to dealing frostbite, affected areas also catch on fire and cause opponents to evacuate their bowels. A successful attempt will mildly heal Alexander.

This spell must be used within three posts of being struck by the spell being returned. This spell only reflects the last spell that has successfully connected with Blueman. This ability only affects spells.

Is this the exact spell or just damage? If it's the exact spell then you won't be able to have this due to copying their ability since it would be a form of such.

This would cost twice as much as the spell being used on and could only be used within the post you were hit.

I would need to ask why it has a doubled cost, seeing as how this scales with magical ability and does not negate their magical spell. It also require that he be struck and take full damage from it-- no glancing blows and/or full on dodges. Its an adaptable riposte.

The three posts is to account for spells that stun or otherwise incapacitate.

Oh, if you're not straight up reflecting then it doesn't need to be double the cost if you have to take full damage. The equal cost works fine.

Also, this would have to work damage only and not the spell itself because of the copying rule. In that sense you'd have to describe what form the damage would be sent.

Instead of including stun based abilities you can say that you can use this once the effects of the spell afflicting you are over. This makes it an RP variable opposed to a post variable which I feel works greater in your favor if someone has something that lasts more than three posts.
