Cost:   40 mp/ 75 mp

Effect: With at the lower cost this the caster creates medium-large size circular symbol of energy that becomes physical matter in a large space around the caster forming in any direction or plane of angles. The rune last either a single post at this cost and cannot move much aside from either a quick little ascending or descention, left or right. When allies or the caster (only a single person effected) touches the rune it will grant them a single post speed boost to their bodies and propel them quickly towards in the directions the rune is facing (does stack). Foes cannot gain the effects and only pass through it but it can be turned solid to try and trap them at a single hand gesture.

For an higher effect cost the rune can shatter and becomes countless tiny shards of glass like fragments that last two additional posts but lose any buff effects. The broken glass will bend to the caster’s will and be extremely sharp having the power of the total cost its casting able to move at great speeds in any attack pattern used.

Trap them how?

if they get caught in it and i notice it in time i could turn it into its solid form and have it form over them quickly. So it be like having your hand stuck in a glass window if you phased through it improperly

The leveling cost system is an investment.

If you want the shattering it'd have to be its own, separate, ability or you'd have to make the second cost 75 MP at the original cast.

Oh, I was saying that you could have it so it's 40 and then the extended cost is 75.

The 40 is just for the first part in case you don't want to use the investment and the 75 would be the investment option. If you'd just prefer this as is then let me know.
