| Name: Ignorance
Element(s): Space
Cost: Varies
Effect: When a 'Kevlin Stitch' weapon / Azmot activates this, any spell that affects physical objects / people is distorted around his body. The distortion allows him to completely ignore any effects of that spell and he passes through it or vice versa, the spell however taking away an equal amount of magic SPENT ON THE SPELL from Azmot as he has to maintain the barrier. If a spell has more MP than his barrier does, it is weakened by that amount and the spell hits Azmot at a lesser capacity. Even though he defends himself from a spell or other magical construction this way, he is still subject to forces outside of damage such as raw, non-damaging impact and friction against a spell being 'Ignored'.

Make it equal amount that was spent on the spell. It's very important to clarify that.

| Ignoring completely is too similar to negation. All this does it make it personalized. You'd have to limit it to being defensive and even offensive in terms of breaking things such as a shield, however, outright ignoring the ability isn't allowed. You'll still feel the things such as forces of resistance and etc, however, you'll be protected and not damaged by them.

| If you change ignore to defense/breakthrough you could use this offensively as well to break through say a shield, otherwise, this only works defensively. If that's something you'd prefer then, well, it works. | |

| As it's worded, it can break through a shield, I believe. | |

| Well you say ignore and pass through anything and it would be a spell affecting you. A shield wouldn't affect you, you would be affecting the shield.
I'm aware you say people but that isn't the point of my comment. I still dislike the use of the word ignore due to the implications. You really aren't ignoring things after all just blocking and, potentially, breaking through them.

| I ignore them if the object carries no force after the magical element is taken out, and even then if it is a physical object such as a shield it would still affect Azmot as it would carry friction if it is otherwise ethereal. That is why I used the word ignore. | |

| You're passing through. That's the whole issue with ignoring. You would be breaking through said shield not passing through and leaving the shield up.
This also wouldn't be able to say breakthrough someone's state of being. Saying they made themselves a liquid and you used this in attempt to hit them while they did that you would still be hitting them as if they were liquid if they were to make that an ability.
