For some reason he didn't see Neptune still there holding onto the island. Moving more he made sure that everything would keep him intangible in order to successfully avoid attacks, however, his stamina was draining quickly. He'd only be able to hold these two parts of the island together for a couple hours and hopefully that'd be enough for everyone to escape. Any longer and they'd all definitely die but right now saving the masses was more important that killing this man. Now he could plan for the future the next time they met. Perhaps he needed help. An ally or something. He was unsure of what he could actually do and if he had a way to stop a man who would constantly get away by sacrificing the people of the world to push his agenda.

Onyx still was at the top gripping the ground it was obvious chief was busy simply trying to prolong this so people could get away.

'CRACK'

A large resonating crack was heard orginating next to the side Onyx was currently laying on, the crack echoing throughout the entire island.

Onyx looking looked up smiling blood dripping out of his mouth cackling while still on the ground rolling on his side looking over the side.

"HEY, ARE YOU STILL DOWN THERE GOD OF THE SEA, SAVE THEM FROM THIS!"

The moment he said that he slammed his fist on the earth

...for a moment there was silence then 'BOOM!'

The half of the island that chief was trying to move was now rather then going any higher or falling Onyx now had had that side of the island falling onto the opposite side that Neptune was trying to save.

"hehehe.......that was mean of me....."

Onyx said to himself still on the elevated side while a rather massive mass of earth began to landslide down like the thunder upon the other half of the island.

The tectonic movement made control of the water more difficult. Neptune began to sweat profusely and a small stream of blood came dripping from his nose. As the avalanche now threatened the island the soldier couldn't hold it up any longer. All means of protection mean that he would allow them to perish and panic through use the earth they lived on or they would sink into the water. He'd rather give them a chance to live and swim. It was much more likely than being submerged through boulders.

Even so, he wasn't able to hold the island much longer either without completely collapsing. His body was tired and his arms dropped immediately as did his knees. All he was able to do was the keep the water in his chest swirling in order to protect himself for now before the water came rushing in. He needed this so he could remain safe as he would traverse the sea. There was no escaping the ocean now.

The water came and he left the swirling movement in his chest drop as the impact nearly knocked him unconscious due to the strain on his body. A silent grunt was exhaled and the waves carried him away. This man effectively reduced the amount of States in America to 49. How did someone with this much power even exist? How did Neptune himself have the power to hold up the island for as long as he did?

Sure, it is easier to destroy and fix in terms of land a shown throughout human history but even now the conflict between the two was a battle among gods. Neptune could only assume he had lost this round. It wasn't a direct conflict but a management of the people on the island and it seem he didn't have the power to save them.

As he was now having trouble breathing due to needing oxygen and his mask filling up he looked around. He assumed he could manipulate the current to himself complete this task but hopefully this wouldn't knock him out moving all the water around him away momentarily he froze it all. A huge sphere of ice would be sent coursing through the stream. There was air in the center and but not in his helmet.

Taking it off he tossed it to the side coughing as the water poured out from the helmet. He forgot was it was like to almost drown. It wasn't pleasant in the slightest. Forcing himself awake for now he would pant heavily as he regained the air he needed in order to potentially continue the fight if it was brought to him, however, what was there even to fight for anymore?

Onyx couldn't believe it as he slightly looked over the side of the now rising side of Hawaii he was on he was going to submerge this place!

Isn't he the hero.

Was he trying to steal his thunder!

If he can't save it sink it!

That must have been the case

Or

He was planning to let the people simply swim to safety afterall you can swim in water despite the fact they'll be multiple buildings / cars and debris to swim through

.....but those bastards had boats!

A sigh of annoyance came shooting through Onyx realizing this.

Just then, Onyx's head shot up as the watched the side of Hawaii he was controlling still going up while most of Hawaii had already begun to be destroyed.

"Well well, NEPTUNE MY BOY AREN'T YOU CLEVER! IF YOUR STILL AWAKE HOW ABOUT I MAKE IT INSTERESTING FOR YOU!

Now be a good boy my little god of the sea.

AND SWALLOW YOUR PILL!"

Onyx voice started out so happy and cheerful however quickly it grew quickly to manical and psychotic and by the end as he said pill was laughing he was laughing blood was spurting out of his mouth and every vain twitched in his body and could be seen clearly from afar.

His eyes were shadowed by his hair as he continued you to laugh his own blood now joining the blood of the innocent upon his body.

There was a clear reason for this.

The side of the island Onyx laid on which was so high up was now colliding onyx dropping it ontop of the landslide and the other side of the island.

While onyx did so still he spat up more blood laughing and laughing rolling on the very edge of the earth he had cause to rise into the air.

"ALOHA OY, ALOHA OY, WHEN NIGHT TIME COMES, YOU'LL ALL BE DEAD!"

Onyx said though the blood that was coming the boy barely holding on over exerting his stamina going much further then he ever had before

Onyx out of no where stopped for a second laughing looking at something shiny a bloodied smile on his face!

"HEY CHIEF I FOUND A NICKEL!"

Onyx said smiling as he began to cheer for this

"IT'S ON TAILS!"

By this time there was nothing that he could do. He was already inside this aside and despite feeling the drastic movements and the quaking earth he was stuck within this cage of his that served as his shield. Continuing to be moved further from the island the people underneath would most likely die unless they had already escaped.

Onyx was a monster and it seemed that other than his faux personality that was demonstrated in order to put him in a better situation. This meant that he would have to be careful because this could happen again with another person and if this person were to escape the next time they interacted then he was unsure how he would handle the situation.

Floating farther and farther away he would keep his consciousness for as long as he could and judge the scenario by the echoing sounds and the waves of the water.

"Wheeeeeeee.....................

Boom"

Onyx spoke he finally dropped his power over the massive force of land he made rise into the air and forced it over the other half of the island.

The massive force of land began to drop Onyx simply laying down on a tiny piece of land while he let the rest of the island fall.

With a disturbing smirk settled on his face Onyx watched the massive land fall all the way down the sound of a huge explosion happening. Flames soon burst into the air rocks flew far up into the skies. All this chaos all of this was his own doing.

"Well....I guess...this is an...okay start....."

Onyx said out loud to himsel as he closed his eyes still conscious but resting the boy began to hum 'somewhere over the rainbow' while the chaos ensued underneath him.
